Privacy policy

SquishScore is a fan site for squishy toys. We collect as little as we can. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Restock alerts
If you sign up for restock alerts, we store:
- your email address,
- your ZIP code, if you give it,
- the squishies and stores you picked.
We use these only to email you when your picks are back in stock or spotted nearby. We ask for your birth year to make sure you're old enough to sign up, but we don't store it. We never sell or share your email, and every alert has a one-tap unsubscribe link. Alert emails are sent through our email provider, Resend.
"Spotted it!" sightings
Sightings are anonymous. A sighting is only the squishy, the store, a ZIP code and roughly how many were left. There are no names, accounts, photos or comment boxes. Other visitors see sightings with only the first three digits of the ZIP code (like "191xx"). Sightings disappear from the site after about 12 hours.
To stop spam, we keep a scrambled code made from your internet address (IP address) for up to a day. We can't turn it back into your IP address, and we use it only to limit how often one person can post.
Children
Restock alerts are for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If someone who may be under 13 tries to sign up, we don't save their email. If you're a parent and think your child gave us their email, write to us at the address below and we'll delete it.
Your ratings, tier lists and haul
Ratings, tier lists, your haul and your saved ZIP code are stored only in your own browser. They never reach us, and clearing your browser data removes them.
Shopping links
Some links go to stores like Amazon, Walmart, Target and Five Below through affiliate programs. If you buy something, we may earn a commission. It never changes your price. When you click through, those stores and affiliate networks may set their own cookies, covered by their own privacy policies.
Videos
Some pages show videos from YouTube or TikTok. Before you tap play, only a preview picture loads (from YouTube's image server, without cookies); the video player itself loads only when you tap. YouTube videos play in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Once you press play, YouTube's or TikTok's own privacy policy applies to that video.
Hosting and security
The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes visits to keep the site fast and safe from attacks. We may use Cloudflare Turnstile, a human check that works without puzzles, on our forms.
Deleting your information
Unsubscribe from any alert email and we'll stop emailing you right away. To have your email deleted completely, write to us.
